The pair can be very uncomfortable to roleplay with. There is a bit of an overarching trigger warning that should be applied to them. If you are ever uncomfortable with something going on in the interactions, please don't hesitate to say something! It is so much better to speak up and have something be shifted for your comfort than for you to keep silent and get upset; or worse just leave the situation altogether! Roleplay is fluid, changes can always be made!

Character Summary

Justice is a mute human sex slave completely owned by their civil demon counterpart Jarloch. Jarloch is a young but snooty demon with way too much ego for their own good, even for a demon. They work as buskers mostly, selling whatever trick they can to whoever they can for however much they think they can get. It's the sex that they peddle that helps them survive. Jarloch is agender, while Justice is genderfluid, meaning that they both can take on whatever role best suits them; and that makes for an interesting sell, at least to a certain niche market. Jarloch keeps Justice chained up tight, literally. Justice is never without their chain restraints, one around each wrist, each ankle, and neck; all leading to a center ring that has a lead that Jarloch can decide to pull Justice along by or chain them to the wall. Justice still has mobility enough to work, though; Jarloch made sure of that.

Dominions
The Hanged Man Tier 1. Ascension to "THE STRAWMAN" The strawman is constructed to be deconstructed. A perfect scapegoat, a sacrifice—an effigy to be burned—the strawman may act or feel like they were created to be taken apart. You feel new possibilities within you. You can now protect others: you gain +1 on all dice rolls when fighting to or trying to protect someone. You can take some of another person’s pain, emotional, psychological, or physical, and pull it into yourself, thus relieving them of part of it. You can also take wounds from someone else and put them onto your body. The dominions scrying, psychic, empathy, and electricity are now augmented. Your character may show unusual command of those dominions for their mastery.

Death Tier 1. Ascension to “THE BELLADONNA" The path of the belladonna is a dark one full of somber danger, the numbness of pain and grief deep enough to burn. The belladonna is a figure of despair. You feel new possibilities within you. The dominions necromancy, necrosis, biomancy, and blood are now augmented. Your character may show unusual command of those dominions for their mastery.
I. PheromonesMajor | Power
The ability to manipulate attraction, whether platonic, physical or romantic, in other people towards yourself. More persuasive speaking, more successful seduction, and a great deal of ability to control the attention of and fill a room. Pheromones work passively, so you can’t turn this dominion off. Control Based: Better control of how you affect someone.
II. ShapeshiftingLesser | Control
The ability to transform and reshape the form of one’s body. Power Based: You are more realistically driven. You can change yourself to look like any person you’d like, although perfectly copying someone’s outward (ex. hair, nose, mouth, etc.) and inward (ex. blood type, dna, etc.) structure takes time and mastery. A lesser level can make themselves look like a person, but not perfectly copy someone else’s appearance by any means. Power based shape shifters have an affinity for things they can see. These people have trouble shapeshifting into more abstract things.

Character In-Depth

Justice is just a thing to be used, that's all they've ever known. Justice doesn't speak, doesn't react, doesn't think even; they are just owned property of Jarloch and only there to serve Jarloch's many amusements. Justice doesn't know anything different, it's just the way it has always been. They do remember their name, though; that much is certain. Justice has always kept their name in the back of their mind, as their one saving grace; the one thing that isn't owned and used by Jarloch.

Demon Information

Jarloch is way too big for their britches. They are young and fairly powerless, but still full of hot air and a penchant for doing anything they can to get themselves to the top. Jarloch makes for a mean business competitor, but mostly only because Justice is a unique sell. Jarloch keeps Justice weak, uneducated, and mute; all for the sake of control. Jarloch knows that they are bound to each other, hates every moment of it, and takes it out on Justice. Jarloch even refuses to call Justice by name, instead using 'slave' to refer to them.
