She's incredibly receptive to the tiny things he does to her, a playful breath of laughter coming free as he nips at her skin and a purr of her voice stifling it upon his gentle kiss. The serpent's body was incredibly malleable for him, her back arching slightly to contour her soft, curved figure with his taut, firm one. She very much liked to stay here with him, lingering in the mingling scents they'd doused each other in thoroughly. His scent was all over and inside her, all but writing his name on her skin and she loves the idea of just laying there in it. When he answers her question, she finds reward in it. There was actually information to glean from asking this, this vein of non-self consideration - she now knew that Kelly was hungry. Perhaps this would have been useless information but as it turned out she decided she very much would like to feed Kelly as he had fed her, to sate his appetite soon so that they could continue to be undisturbed. So it was a rather good thing that she now had this information she could use for that goal. Either way, she welcomed him back down to her once he settles at the crook of her neck again, her arms wrapping around his shoulders in an embrace as she conformed against him. Her breaths had stabilized, now long and meaningful and full as she committed to her position underneath him, allowing herself to be kept close.

When he explains what it was he ate, she thinks back and decides that it wasn't too surprising. He had never eating anything with her, had he? Aside from the bite of cake, which could not really nourish either of them to begin with but the serpent ate for more than just that. Still, she had not seen him physically partake of a human's meat either. "What sort of emotions do you like, Kelly? ..I have a basement full of them right now - you can take your pick." her staff were humans! Not because she could not instill a crippling fear in or brainwash weaker demons than she, but simply because humans were very good nourishment if for some reason, of course, they d i s a p p o i n t e d her. She had the innate want to devour humans, not demons, for that reason. But anything was possible when you had a particularly-insatiable appetite like Henche. "You feed me all the time, now I can feed you. I'm sure there's something of what you like down there. Humans are very full of those, you know." the words were entwined with a condescending happiness that made the serpent fittingly-cruel towards the idea of all that fuss and moodiness that humans were very much knows for. She supposes that Kelly's diet of emotion was one that would never run dry, because humans were always producing it. More than even they could handle, how silly! "..Do you like it when they beg? Or when they're angry?" she playfully guessed just what he might like of them most. The best part about feeding Kelly, she thinks, is that she would not have to look for replacement staff. She had to admit that it was less hassle than feeding herself, wherein she would be short of anything she set her eyes on. This was what the chefs were for, but even they insisted on prettying the dishes so that they could almost forget that it wasn't venison on her plate, wasn't a roast, wasn't sirloin.
Her hands slide up from his back and then to his nape, then, her fingers curling into his hair and thumbs massaging his temples. "Do you want to clean up First, Kelly?" anything to hold onto how close they were, how quiet things were, how alone they were. Plus, she has noticed how much the shadow demon liked to be very presentable and pristine.

"That is very convenient. I do like that." was his reasonable response to the fact she had a buffet of people downstairs that he could feed off of. The main problem, was when he fed he liked to cause chaos at the same time. But, of course, he could make exceptions. For her anyways. It was nice, she was trying to feed him. He liked the idea. His eyes searched across her face, before pressing a feather light kiss against her jawline. It was not necessarily to show affection towards her, more because he quite enjoyed the reaction it caused on her face. The happy little hums, and giggles and smiles. And the salty taste. "My preference is anything strong. The most delicious is fear, because it is all consuming to humans."

She was being so caring towards him, offering to find him something to eat, and providing little touches against him as he remained intertwined against her. It was..unusual. He could not help nodding his head into the crook of her neck in acknowledgement of her statement about getting clean. She would provide him anything he wanted, he knew this. She was trying to show him..something..and he was very pleased. Always pleased by her. "That is kind, Miss Kashiro. I need to, yes." And he did. He'd get itchy. Irritable. Preoccupied and just downright uncomfortable. Reality was on him again, and as much as he enjoyed being close to her, as close as he possibly could get, he really would enjoy cleanliness. She was very..sweet..to make note of this, and unusual that she gained that knowledge on him without him making her aware personally. She was, he thought, more knowledgeable on him than he thought, and perhaps more knowledgeable on him than even she thought.

Regrettably, he untangled his arms from her very slowly. Attempting to ensure she did not react by holding tighter onto him, and if she did he would relax against her once more. He liked the feeling of her hands through is hair, massaging his head. His eyes raised, glancing over her face before pressing a slight kiss against her lips. He was unsure where her bathroom was, or her shower or bath. He remained sitting with her, not pushing her to move away from him except for the slight untanglement of their limbs. "Come then. Please."

So, that was that. He wished to take up her offer and she wished to give it.. but, of course, it was bittersweet. She was doing something she deemed good, but even still there was a dawning sensation that came with reality setting in. She was sure he would be leaving soon, and that was.. unpleasant. Not because she did not think he would come back but because she was dreading the span of time where she would have to wait for him, and.. the last person who had tried to leave after a visit she had chased away. That was not something she thought she had control over, how an embrace had become a suffocation - she hadn't even noticed it, but that's what she was accused of doing and she didn't believe she was ever that rough. Not that she had noticed, anyway. She thinks that perhaps if she wanted to spare him of that she should not get so used to him being around and perhaps that would not acclimate her towards expecting him to stay. But anyway. The touch of his lips to her jaw was enough of a sensation to bring about a smile on her face. "Fear.. you'll never run low on that stock" an idle thought spoken on idle words. Was that why he had liked to play these games? Intense emotions were very easily incited during the ones they had played together, certainly.

The largest problem was that the moment where her body had been endlessly sated was over, the moment where she wanted nothing but to stay put for him, move at his nonverbal requests; now she was incredibly hungry and had to move on soon to sate that need despite how she wanted to stay close to him. It's indicative by the reflexive tighten of her hold once he began to push away, and a much stronger desire to pin him was just avoided - either by her own sheer will or simply his ability to move away without triggering it. Instinct was putting weight on what personal desires she wanted and it was problematic. She ignored this strange sensation of conflict between the two things which had never been separate before and was staring back at him with and idle curiosity of him. He leaned in to kiss her and she returns it, fluidly rising up to sit just as he had. She momentarily rests against him for a second or to, leaning into his space similar to the time they had spent in the gossip chamber, and then just like that she was on her feet. She gingerly took his hand with a brief, happy smile, leading him outside of her bedroom and then into the larger room with the bathroom's door on the other side of the far wall. Crossing the expanse, she then pushes open the bathroom door and enters into the roomy bathroom with great direction in her steps.

The shower was separate from the roomy bathtub - she was very partial to soak in the water rather than let it run all over her and lose the sensation immediately. Still, she supposed it could not be helped. There was still more to do, of course! So she leads him to the glass-walled shower and steps into the crack in the glass door, bending over to turn on the multiple jets of water and adjusting the temperature. The warm water pelted at her skin and the steam that slowly but surely built up the hear of the room was very pleasing for the serpent who wanted desperately to be as warm as she could get. All the while she was watching him, wanting to be close to him, wanting to play with him, but somehow she refrains. Her hands instead were busy with her own body, rubbing away the dried sweat at her skin and running a wave of water through her hair. Sweeping the long hair aside she began to absentmindedly play with the deep grooves and nicks and cuts into her skin at her nape well into view now, how sudden and cruel, while she continued to enjoy every moment that the water heckled her soft body. "...How is this, Kelly?" she asks him out of the blue if the shower was to his liking while she continued to tend to her own self. She was rather excited to take Kelly to the basement where she would feed him; she'd never fed another human or demon before. The concept was very unusual, and she was both anxious and excited to see if she could bring about his fill!

His will to want to remain close to her was outweighed by his absolute need to get clean. The feeling of drying sweat over his skin, was a most unpleasant one. So he let her take his hand, and let her lead him away from the bed that smell of sex and sweat and them. He knew she would have to eat, and he hoped she agreed to eat before feeding him. The last thing he wanted, was to suddenly become lunch. What an interesting thing though. To have to be slightly concerned that your serpent you just slept with may accidentally crush you or eat you? It did not bother him though. He was starting to understand the necessities and the needs of her. Still, watching her walk in the shower, letting the water run down the contours of her figure, it was actually distracting to him and he found he had to continually remind himself to stay focused so they could go eat sooner rather than later.

He stepped into the shower with ease, scrubbing at his skin to get clean. Scrubbing to ensure every inch of him was free from the grime of excursion. And, while he did that his eyes did not move from watching her hands on her own frame. Watching them glide over her skin and he realized how addictive it was that he wanted to be closer to her already. It was a new found need, and an obsessive one and as his eyes tracked where her hands moved he instinctively took a small step forwards before stopping himself when she asked him a question. Blank. It took him a moment to realize she was asking about the shower, and not in how she was washing herself. His attention reached her face again and he offered a small smile. "I do quite like it, the scenery is pleasant." He could have chuckled at the comment, but only the twitch of his smile would do and then he let the water run over him, washing away the residue and soap, hands pushing through his hair unceremoniously.

The demon knew he would have to leave soon, and part of him did not wish too. Which was exactly why he knew he would need too. Too much change, too much and he did not want to be overwhelmed. He needed time to acclimate. He needed time to his own devices. And he believed perhaps Kashiro would need that too. Of course, she seemed like she would be rather content if he just never left her direct side. Which was fine with him, as long as she actually let him leave, and did not succumb to those thoughts. But more and more he was finding her thoughtful towards his needs, it was not automatic, but more manual in its description when she asks him things about himself. Such as if he was hungry, or how the shower was. As if she specifically put in extra effort, just to inquire about him. And well, that was just endearing as fuck.

The hearty lather o soap sloughed from her body after she meticulously gathered and scrubbed it upon her skin. It rolled away from her soft skin like cotton and swirled between their feet. She had never shared this space before with anyone else and yet she was not finding difficulty with the moderate proximity between them as they both scrubbed away the scent of sweat and sex from their skin, and whenever she looked at him it dawned more on her that... she had no idea how to do this. This of course being.. whatever it was this was. She'd established that he was unique, that she could see and perhaps simply feel that he was thinking, that he was processing, machinating the events around them and devising responses (he was incredibly clever during their games and she has never known anything insentient to be so intuitive) unique to what was happening. She'd established that there were things happening in real time, that she could ask a question and get an answer she did not earlier know which was very exciting. But, how did she exist with another being in her space like this? Billie had been the closest to that, but when she had lived here she was primarily controlled with limited movement, kept in her own room after a certain hour and allowed to roam otherwise - though she had much more liked to be in her room doing.. whatever it was people did on the "compies." This wasn't the same thing - or, at least, her mind was perceiving that this wasn't the same type of dynamic. New experiences for her were very exciting and the serpent tended to jump right in because there was no consequence too big for her to acclimate to. She could leave The City in a single night, leaving behind everything she owned, moving on to an entirely new place and rebuild another identity if it was more opportunistic than here. All she needed was herself, and everything outside of herself was a game for her to play.

...But Kelly was outside that realm of things that existed only to entertain her, things put into her environment - just things. And she was finding that perhaps she did not want to ruin anything with a boisterous hand. She absolutely intended to continue playing their games with him (how could she not? She'd never had half the fun on her own!) and also wanted to be close to him still and does not find them to be mutually exclusive. Sure they might share a moment here and there where it did not involve any but each other, but the frequency at which they played would not decrease - especially now that she knew Kelly was likely being fed during these games of theirs and, of course, so was she. There was something very interesting about bonding in this way, it was something only predators might do. Either way, she very much did not want to ruin it.

She hadn't been looking at him when she asked him that, but her attention was drawn when he answered. It brought a long, sprawling grin to her face and a mellow, content breath of laughter in her throat. Perhaps it surprised her, how candid a response it was - far more candid than he had ever been that she had noticed, and she decided it was very nice. She moved close to him for a moment, leaning up for a slightly-chaste kiss before turning back to the jets of water to rid the last of the soap from her now-clean body.

Once she was done she left the water on until he was finished (a consideration that took effort to remind herself that she was not alone), sliding open one of the glass walls and stepping out onto the absorptive mat lining the floor at the shower's feet, reaching over to a rack where large body towels were folded. She took two out, drying herself tentatively with one while holding the other for him to take once he was finished. Once they were both dry to each their standards, the plan would be to redress and head down to the basement where they would both be able to feed. She was not sure what had been procured for her, and that was part of the excitement! She knew they had stocked food for her but was never sure if it had been cooked by the chefs or if it was living. The butler tended to those preparations. He had essentially lived his life in this place taking care of a snake; ensuring her enclosure was clean, ensuring she was fed variety and ensuring she not have a need to eat the trapped staff who were tasked with fulfilling such conditions for her. She trusted that he would not let her down because of course, if he did, they were both aware of what would happen. "You said you prefer fear. Right, Kelly?" there was a very thoughtful sound to her voice as they continued to prepare for their meal together. Whatever she had decided on in her head drew a nice smile to her face, in any event. "I want to make sure you are very well fed, so.. I'm thinking of a game we can play." he would have to wait and see, of course, she expected he understood that. She did not mind what scars they retained, mental or physical; if they could carry a broom and if they knew they could not escape then they were suitable for what she needed. It was not as though they could quit, of course, and that was a very nice reality. If they were broken, then they were locked away and rehabilitated. No need for doctors, no need for shrinks. No need for w i t n e s s e s. And, if that was not suitable to fix them then they were simply put down and replaced. For that reason some of them were hiding their limps and their badly-healed bones, struggling back tears of pain as they straightened or walked more gingerly when either the butler or the serpent herself were present. The were tending a snake's massive enclosure and were forced to live in the space with the beast; they all expected to be bit sooner or later. And this time, that serpent decides, a game would be made out of it.

It seems they were both out of their element. Alehk had not spent so much time with one individual before, he had not done a lot of the things he had found he was doing lately. He was also not quite certain how pleased he was, it seemed to be a headache of confusion. But he enjoyed her. And he enjoyed their games. And with the quick and sweet kiss she pressed to his lips, he knew he enjoyed the action. Yet a lot had changed, and very abruptly. While he had been spending more time with her than he would anyone else, it was not as if they had been in each others presence for all that long. A few days.

A few days of him providing games for her, and looking for her to laugh, and gifting her items and food. It crossed his mind that he may have been courting her, and he had not even realized it at the time. That was something the humans did, right? Either way, that was neither here nor there because as he finished rinsing her off of him and reached for the towel and began to dry himself, she was addressing him and informing him of a new game. That, he knew right away, he was pleased with. His brows arched slightly, then lowered again to the expressionless face he held mostly.

"Fear. Yes. I am most intrigued. You have a surprise for me, then?" The last part of his sentence lingered a little, showing what little he could of the sudden curiosity he felt. What game did she have in mind? The last game she had decided on was splendid. They all were. And he very, very much liked to play with his food more than just sit and eat. She was full of surprises, wasn't she? He took a small step forwards, his hand raising and touching her cheek with feather touch before moving away from her to look for his clothing. If her apartment had not been so absolutely clean, he would have been disgusted with himself. He paused as he looked at his pants at the end of the sex scented bed, staring at them for a brief moment as if in consideration.

He decided almost hesitantly and picked them up, tossing the towel over his shoulder before he slipped them on over his bare ass. While he had no problem with being naked, he did enjoy clothing. Even clothing that perhaps was not as pristine as it had once been. His hands were smoothing out any wrinkles he may have seen, a little taken back at his carelessness. Another thing, Miss Cas-Kashiro seemed to bring out in him. The demon towel dried his hair, looking more disheveled then perhaps he ever had with his hair sticking up and only half dressed before he made his way to find his remainder articles. His eyes raised, seeking her out once he was dressed, having slipped his shirt over his head and slowly fastening the unbuttoned buttons. "Let's play, please my darling. I am quite excited, and I am sure you are quite hungry."

After the brief moment of his heated touch against her cheek she was leaning into it ever so slightly for the moment it existed; she would always crave the warmth he could press into her veins like it was her drug of choice. She spoke only after, moving systematically to out the room to procure what clothing had been left behind. "You had one for me yesterday, didn't you?" which.. was a strange sensation for her, but she was finding that maybe it was not so difficult to remember to return things that were given to her. After all, they were very similar and that made it much easier for her to return a favor and it actually be appreciated. "It's a little close-spaced and last moment, but it will certainly feed you!" True, it would not have the element of surprise or roleplaying the past ones had - it was in a confined space, with people who at least knew quite a bit about just how unkind a serpent could be. It was impromptu but both demons were particularly starved and she would make up for any shortcomings of their game at a later date - whenever he wanted to play with her again, she supposed. When she said that, though, there was some strange sensation she could not name. It was like an anxiety of sorts, a pressure - she was not familiar with the sensation but she wanted him to enjoy her attempt to appease him and there was perhaps a pressure to do well.

She did not often find the need to dress - it was her home, after all, and the lives here were but features of her enclosure. Still, it was rather drafty in the basement and she did not wish to be colder than she usually felt. So she was back into the main room of her quarters, taking up the dress and slipping back into it and redoing the clasp at the back. When the shadow demon returned for his shirt which had been left in that spot as well, she was beaming up at him excitedly. "Yes, let's! I am very hungry." but she had the self control enough to wait for food that she knew was more suitable and waiting for her such that he was safe from the ravenous serpent. She was opportunistic, true, but if it took waiting a moment more to get a meal that would not only fill her but did not involve devouring something that was far better alive than on a plate, she was instinctively rather docile.

Once they were done there, the happy serpent bounced ahead and led him back out of her room and into the quiet hallways once again. Through the pathways, across the catwalk yet again, and then down the stairs back onto the first floor whose presence was considerably more open and hollow. As they descended the butler was mingling at the front door sifting through mail (the serpent liked to have it sorted and he knew how to do so) that had just been left by a particularly-fearful young mailman who had unfortunately been given this route. "Pauello, we need to go into the basement." and the 5'9 man's attention snapped up to the two demons who were in his vicinity. He'd not paid heed to them earlier simply because he was used to a rather nonexistent coexistence with the serpent - this was safest, to exist as a part of her enclosure unless she actively chose to give him relevance. He had lived the longest, had seen many come and go and never leave; he'd toted bodies in a trunk and dragged along the gardeners to bury them, had procured her unsuspecting prey off the street and had played doctor to badly-damaged staff who begged to be given "proper" care - well, proper care was simply stitching them up, breaking and re-setting their bones, hooking their bodies to IV bags while their faces were too broken to eat. He was deep enough that he couldn't leave even if he wanted to, his mind warped or perhaps enlightened enough to know that he was trapped no matter how far or how free the serpent had let him roam in those 15 years. He knew his value and how fickle it was and was and respected the predator that could see him as food at a moment's notice. The best the human servant could do was try to be as rewarding to keep alive as possible. He moved almost immediately without a word, placing down the mail on a table and striding out in front of them. They moved across the room to two double doors which led into the spacious kitchen. The chefs were there, three of them, who were sharpening their blades preemptively - because the serpent was home, of course, and they did not need to be told what happened if she asked for food and there was none. Aside from the butler they had lived the longest - assuming they did what they were supposed to, as they were very important. They did not look up from their work outright, but one or two of them glared up at the unusual shadow demon who was moving through their vicinity. Through the kitchen there was a small narrow path that led to a locked door; many would of course think it was but a wine cellar, where the chefs left their best picks for the serpent's dinners.

The stairs led them underground where there had been ample space to house the operation beneath the noses of anyone who was poking around against their better judgement. Pauello soon stood at the door and pulled free the large ring of keys from his inner suit pocket and unlocked the large door with a 'click'. Pushing it open he walked in ahead, reaching to the wall beside them and flipping on the many long industrial fluorescent tube bulbs on the ceiling that turned on in sequence from closest to farthest away. Everything was concrete, unfurnished, little 12-by-12ft concrete cell rooms lining perfectly on either side of a walkway. They were allowed to decorate and furnish and paint the little rooms to their liking, however, and they were big enough to fool their minds into thinking they were simply normal-sized bedrooms, with all their favorite things and a little closet space to wash up and such. But only if they were good at lying to themselves. "How many, madam?" Pauello asks, because he was certain she and the other demon wished to take from the cookie jar, so to speak. "Hmm.. Let's see Five of them." It was a good round number, wasn't it? Certainly enough to feed Kelly, she thinks. The butler then went to five different rooms and unlocked the locked doors, directing the five back towards the demons. They were rather new faces (not that she'd noticed) but they were shaky and afraid and looking to each other for some semblance of comfort or explanation as they shakily approached the serpent like beaten animals. With the butler at their back, they knew they could not force themselves back into their rooms because despite how mute and meek and tired-eyed he was around the serpent who had him under her foot, he was surprisingly cruel for such a short thing and they were already afraid of him. "Hello! You've been chosen to play a game with me. The reward is your freedom." and they were immediately excited about this, but that was unfortunate because the serpent was never that simple. "...but only one servant can leave this basement. You have to be willing to sacrifice each other for it. The winner is the one I don't eat." and then their faces lost color immediately, their lips paling, their hands sweating as their heart dropped into their stomachs. "Are you ready to play with us?" she was beaming at them as though they were in on the festivities - whatever sick game she was going to construct to turn them against each other and bring out their fear, anxiety, guilt, lust for survival - it would be only the most intense of emotions and she just knew it would bring Kelly to his fill. This was what she did, what she had always done; she planted things in their heads and swindled them into performing, into becoming monsters they ironically dubbed her to be. It would be fun for her, a lucrative practice at studying human nature so that she could further hone how to manipulate them with stipulation. She then turned to Kelly as the servants were murmuring and sobbing to one another, her grin bright and happy. "I'm going to put on a show for you, Kelly." she would perform for him, feed him, and would enjoy doing so.

It was a simple nod in response to her statement about how he had surprised her yesterday. Whether it was in a confined pace, it did not bother him. If it was dirty, he would….Well he would just have to deal with that. He always made allowances to partake in a game. It was why he would charm women, touch them, let them breathe on him or lean on him. It was why he accompanied others for walks, or sat and drank coffee with them. If it was for a game, for entertainment or confusion on their part, then he would always make the exception to his own discomfort. As long as the insecure environment was overweighed by the games finale. Which it normally was, and if he found otherwise, he simply killed them and fed off the hopeless terror that always instilled.

Fear. It was such a simple emotion. Fear of losing someone, fear of losing themselves, fear of death or pain or hardship. As he had stated, it was all encompassing. It could be brought on by the smallest of ploys. Humans were very manageable, and instilling fear into their very being was quite an easy task. The hardship, was ensuring it was created to a degree that it was still beneficial based on how much energy and time he would have to put into it. But, of course, with his lovely serpent he had no doubts on her capability of created a more fearsome endeavor for humans in whatever she had planned. Her excitement at the idea of the game pleased him, and he willingly followed after her as she lead the way through to the downstairs.

The entire way, his eyes remained on her as they always did. His attention never wavering, even as some cooks seemed to glare at him, or he was lead into some creepy dungeon. He had no fear he would be locked down there, and if she did decide too well he would deal with that at that moment in time. For now, he trusted her fully, which in itself was odd for the demon who ensured he never knew anyone and kept everyone he did know ensnared in lies. Even Miss Kashiro, did not know his real name. He sure hoped, she would not feel betrayed if she realized this, although it was not his own choosing - Kelly was the name she had labelled him, after all.

He found himself staring at five squeamish and blubbering humans, his eyes finally tearing away from his serpent to stare at them individually and as a whole as she spoke about the game rules. His brow rose slowly at the mention of letting one leave, but other than that there was no discernable reaction to what she was saying. Both his hands moved behind his back, shoulders pulled back and that perfect posture resumed even as his damp hair fell forwards unceremoniously. He was unsure on what her game would be, and he found the anticipation was well distinguished. Already there was quivering fear, an appetizer he was sure for what she had planned. She was being very good to him, this day. Very attentive towards him in a way she had never been previously.

She was addressing him and his eyes flickered from the contestants, moving back to her face and he nodded slightly towards her in response. His eyes lowering to take in her smile and his own twitching in response in that half way they tended to do in her presence. "I am very intrigued. I can not wait to watch you." She was invigorating, wasn't she? The way she was already toying with their minds, giving them that brief speck of hope and then ripping it away - Yet still a shred of the positive feeling remained, every single one of them felt slightly wishful that it was them that would remain alive at the end of the eves pleasantries.

The tension between them was palpable as the serpent moved away from them briefly and wheeled over a large portable toolbox. "You will each take turns to make me happy. Each time that you don't, I'll take something from you." and before they could process what she was telling them, the serpent was taking out power tools, bone saws, razor blades, mallets and the like and that was enough to spell it out for them. One of them, merely an adolescent, scrambled back at attempted to run back into her room but Pauello had caught her by the hair tightly, eliciting a helpless and desperate scream. She was brought back close with this leisurely stride, her body awkwardly contorted to his intentionally-lowed fistful of hair that had her bending over to minimize the stress of her scalp. The serpent was incredibly displeased. "Well. Since you want to misbehave, I will let you be the First one." and while it could be assumed that she meant the young woman would be the first to be killed, that was not the case. She would be the first to play the game, the first to make choices between her life or another - that was much more fun, of course. "Here," she took a razor blade and strode over the young thing that had been walked up closer than the other four. Shoving it into the whimpering thing's hand and unintentionally cutting her hand without regret, the serpent tells her "Choose one of them you can stand to hurt and cut out their eyes with that. I am hungry, you see, and I could use something to keep me from eating you alive." the young woman froze even as her hair was let go by the butler, even as he stepped back and she could have tried to escape again. This wasn't happening, she thought - it was plain on her pale, shocked face as she looked at the razor blade left in her hands that had already collected blood of her own. Then she was pleading as the serpent stepped back to watch, trying to reason with her, trying to get her to change her mind - telling her how she could just let them all go and then telling her how stupid this game was to dissuade her, make her think rationally... and that only angered the Hydra. She cut forward with a vicious gait, her body practically vibrating with explosive and unpredictable anger that her eyes could never show. Once she was in the young thing's face she leaned inward to scream "FUCKING DO IT" and it was shrill, unkind, inhuman. The girl was shivering in the draft of the basement, bowing her head as silent tears fell and she pulled her arms across her chest in an X for self comfort. Another one of the older ones, a man, reached out and attempted to discreetly smooth his palm across her back to comfort the little thing he'd grown fond of. While Kashiro did not see this from behind the young woman, Pauello did and, of course, to remain relevant and to ensure the serpent that camaraderie between mankind and himself did not exist, he actively chose to sell out his own breed wherever possible. "How about this one, Madam?" he asks, drawing her attention to the now-frozen man with a thoughtful 'hmm.' "...He is awfully ugly. The ugliest animals always look great on a pla-" "No, please! I'll choose, I'll choose..." her blubbering voice cut off the serpent's thought but this did not phase her because she was accustomed to being without necessity to ever finish one. So she lets the interjection slide.

Perhaps it was expected or perhaps it was a happy surprise, but there was anger now between them. The ones who had just seen the young girl give in because one of them was not favorable to be harmed knew that, therefore, the girl had already picked which one she would wouldn't hurt and - when lives were in the balance here - they did not appreciate the favoritism. Their grief turned to exhausted but strong anger, rage, their previously-low voices now cutting each other off as they only built up their agreement that this was sick and wrong. But not the serpent, no - they seemed to have forgotten that she was the greater evil in this basement - but instead they were angry at the circumstance that the little c h i l d was going first and was going to operate on her heartstrings and was incredibly biased. "What, so he's off fucking limits because he wants to fuck you?" ooh, the serpent was intrigued by the drama now. She had no idea what was going on between the servants most the time - she expected that Pauello knew everything but whether or not he cared was a very different story. "Let's look at this rationally, okay? Systematically. Some of us have skills that the world needs to get out of here - choose based on what good we can do, Lily." Oh, one of them was trying to make a lowkey bid for her own importance by coming off as rational, wasn't she? The serpent was incredibly well-versed in how humans tried to burrow under things that way and escape, but was Lily? Another one tacked onto that, considering himself in the same boat as the other three and therefore was on their side. Look at how they grouped together to single out their own! "...and that means that some 30-something pedo who wants to bone you is not good surface-world material. Just think about it. Assuming we don't fucking kill him when it's our turns, only one of us can get out remember? As in, only him and not you. And you think he's going to choose you to go free? Either way, no happy ending here. Fucking told you that the moment we got dragged in here by Little Satan." Pauello cocked his head curiously, pushed his glasses further on his nose, but didn't say anything. The serpent was laughing with glee, her smile beaming as she notes "Hehehe, they call you Little Satan down here, Pauello." and she found it hilarious because look at him! He was a short little thing, not particularly physically intimidating but very fancy she would give them that - he wore glasses, it was cute! He was like a little ferret in a bow-tie, she thought. "Look - if you choose him, we got your back. We'll fucking hold him down and everything, girl. But pick one of us and you'll have three against you." The man finished the argument with a promise, and the other two nodded with steel in their eyes.

Lily by now was absolutely crushed. She knew the other three were making points she was old enough to understand, but Hughs was in her ear begging her not to listen. He was embracing her, pressing his face to the back of her hair - begging her with his body and words both. She was crying now but the serpent reflexively laughed - because she thought she was laughing. It was a brilliant sound, loud and dominant and full, drawing attention to one of the brave three who were trying to manipulate the girl into choosing to cut Hughs. Damon strode forward with intent in his eyes, towering over the serpent once he came close without any seeming intention of stopping; "Oh this is all a FUCKING GAME to you isn't it? You think this is fucking funny? How about we all fucking pin YOU DOWN and take YOUR eyes?" but the serpent cannot feel fear in that way. She does not know it, predators do not fear their prey and she has never met one who is a predator of her. She does reflexively back away slightly because she is not certain of his intentions and would prefer to avoid an unbecoming scuffle. Her grin faded slowly and she cocked her head as she looked up at him curiously. "I don't need eyes - it's a bother to remember to blink them, you see. you can try if you like! But, you'll Find that none of your dominions are going to work." her voice went from chipper and excited to dull and blase, somber and someone incredibly cruel and foreboding. They were all silent now as the statement seemed to echo through the large underground holding facility, and the five looked between each other as they attempted to process just what she had meant. Damon was the only one who had the courage to ask. "W..what the fuck are you talking about you crazy bitch." "Hahahaha! Pauello, listen - so silly! They think that I just let f i l t h y creatures walk around my home with the ability to use dominions! ..No no no, there's anti-dominion tech in your food. Keeps your demons very prone. You're free to try and wrestle me, though. I am very good at that." None of them were listening after the point of "anti-dominion tech." Damon wheeled away from her with a loud "FUCK!" and was rubbing his face desperately with his palms as he returned to the other two, Hughs and Lily were comforting each other with careful, fearful holds and Pauello - well. He still had use of his dominions. There was no remorse.

"How silly. No, you have to use your bodies for once, you know, instead of using demons like slaves to do everything for you." Despite how she said this so casually, there was a twisted, acrimonious undertone to the way she said it. What they'd done to her, what they'd done to Kelly... She does not know what they'd done in the entirety to the shadow demon but she was certain they had abused him, his power, his everything, and stole his memories to make him malleable or to cover their tracks. When she thinks of him, she reflexively turns away from the lovely chaos and steps back closer to him, reaching to temporarily loop her arms around his as she leaned in close. It was a very strange, very new act of hers; she was thinking of another and his theoretical struggle that she had never seen or really heard of in detail, was imagining the worst of it and, as a result, actively sought him out and wanted to be close to him. That was something others did with ease because they had a well-defined network of emotion and empathy which allowed them to feel the possibility of sadness or hurt or discomfort in another based on their past misfortune and wanted to be close, to preemptively allow them to know that they were not alone and that they were being thought about. Kashiro could not do that, not really, but there she was sidling up to him and finding herself happier for doing so. "Look how angry and how whiny they are, Kelly. Which do you think the girl will cut? Do you think she will make me have to punish her?"

That was the big question. Would she obey and make a choice, and would she choose Hughs to avoid three-to-one altercation, or would she rather displease the serpent? Despite how confusing it was for Lily, despite how many choices it seemed like she had, there were only two: did she choose to inflict the pain on another or did she choose to sacrifice herself for everyone else?

Alehkar watched as she spoke. While the humans began to beg, plead, and rationalize, he kept his silver eyes on the serpent and never let them move away. He was much more interested in her. Watching and studying the way she taunted and played with her prey, producing fear and anger simultaneously in the most perfect of ways. And that feeling in his chest came back. The tightening, and rolling feeling that caused him to want to touch her. To be near her. But he did not have to move, because contently she was at his side suddenly, and sidled up against him, her arms moving to ensare his own. The previous..irritation...she had shown had vanished, and in its place the usual happy nature returned. He turned his head, pausing in the briefest of hesitations before placing a quick and soft kiss to her temple before looking down at her."They are quite loud and sobbing, aren't they? I must say, You do have a way of pleasing me, most unlike any other. They are fearful, and seem more angry at each other than you. I wish.." His train of thought seemed to scatter as he heard a commotion. His attention finally looked away from her, eyes flickering to the butler who he decided he did not like. For no other reason than his own disloyalty to his kind. Then moved to look at the scene before him with sudden interest. "I do not think she will listen. She does not seem very strong. Maybe you will get to eat her quicker? Or yes, punish her nicely." But he did wish she would do it. He wanted to see the young human...break.

"Shut up shut up shut UP"

Her hands covered her ears and she clamped her eyes shut as tightly as she could, as if that would stop the tormenting words of everyone else. Shut them out so she could just think for one second. This was not happening. Things like this didn't happen in reality. But that scream, that inhuman, demonic noise the creature before her had emitted proved it was happening. Proved how serious this was. Taking a slow and steady breath, her eyes opened and she turned to look at Rick. Rick with his gentle hand on her back. Rick with a pleading look, and saying over and over that she didn't need to choose. Her hand reached out, fingee tips lightly touching his cheek as she felt the tears well up in her eyes again. There must have been some innate expression she gave him. Something she was unaware of when her decision was made because suddenly he was screaming 'No' over and over again. True to their word, the three others reached out and grabbed him roughly as his pathetic begging echoed in the empty and barren basement. She was clutching the razor blade in her hand subconsciously, watching as Rick was pinned down. Someone yelled something at her, she was unsure where or who it came from, but it pushed her forwards until she found herself straddling his chest. His face was so beautiful..he had shown her what little happiness she had found since being trapped here. She knew she had too. She knew it was the only choice she could make. She was too young to die. She should be at home, talking about boys and school and homecoming dance. With new vigor she reached out took the blade, making the tiniest incision against the soft tissue under Ricks eye, but his scream and her own fear won. Body shaking and tears blurring her vision until she could not even see.

"Fucking child! Just let me do it before you get us all killed right now!" And suddenly the woman who had decided she was better than all of them, lunged forwards and wrenched the razor out of a shaking fist, before shoving the child unceremoniously off Rick. It was quick. Methodical. Fluid. She was actually humming to herself as an attempt to distract herself from the wailing screams. It was a soft melody she had learned as a child, her mother taught it to her to calm her after her nightmares. And this. This was definitely a fucking nightmare. But someone had to male a decision before the lunatic demons got impatient and just slaughtered them all. She was a leader. She was a dentist. She could do this. What was the difference between pulling out a tooth and pulling out some eyes? Apparently a fucking lot. The razor blade cut cleanly through the soft flesh, but actually getting the eyeballs out was near impossible. Especially with Rick who would not stop moving. Her heart was racing, and she honed in on what meeded to be done with a vigor she did not know she possessed. Her hands moved in, two fingers reaching in and scooping out each eyeball as the screams became nothing but her sodt humming melody. The blade sawed through the optic nerve before finally she popped back on the now still speedbump beneath her.

Her face was wet but it was not raining. She was not outside, was she? Everything came into focus, as she stared down at Rick before looking at the young girl who was pale white and sobbing into her hands. Hands. Why were hers red? Why was she holding marbles? Then the calmst voice brought her back to her reality. She instantly dropped the eyeballs omto the floor, expecting them to roll but instead they just kind of flopped there and remained unmoving.

"My darling, they cheated."
Could be heard, breaking through her train of confusion. The voice was so calm, filled with nothing and eerily quiet and yet easily sliced through the screaming sobbing mess of the young one. Even the girl raised her head from her hands, eyes widening slightly and looking directly at her with pure unadulterated fear. She didn't break any rules! She made a decision. She chose who to injure. The child wasn't even going to do it! She should be praised for taking the initiative. Or wait...Maybe...Maybe it was the childs he was talking about?

TRIGGER WARNING: DETAILED GORE AND VIOLENCE

She allowed them to bicker among themselves while the shadow demon had her attention. She leaned happily into the kiss at her temple, a smooth and contented breath sounding to indicate how she very much liked his attention. When she's told that he was pleased, that he liked what she had started for him, she was beaming up at him happily. She was not convinced that there was enough in this room just yet to have filled him, but she was pleased that he was content in watching things unfold. Her own gaze is taken from him only when he is no longer looking at her. She watches briefly what altercation and arguments were slowly spinning out of control, and then looks back to Kelly without a care. "I think she will be the First that I eat." which was unfortunate, but it could not be helped. Her punishment, though, would be very satisfying for Hydra and shadow demon both. She was certain to construct it in that way - because despite how last minute this game was, all that really had done was showcase how very little planning the serpent needed in order to conduct something incredibly.. engaging. She thought so, anyway - and hoped that Kelly did, too.

It seemed that all that noise had been the result of building tensions, because once the dam broke there was a loud scuffling between subjects. They were working together, seizing the man they had honed in on and was pinning him despite this incredibly loud screams for the contrary. They were unforgiving, and the largest one immediately had him prone so that the woman and other man could keep him still as best they could. The girl was stepping up to fulfill what task the serpent had given her, but then...
Damon was screaming. Yelling, the heavy baritones of his voice reverberating through the place. He was telling her to stop, telling her to back up, telling her to give the razor back to the girl - it wasn't their turn, he knew this was breaking the rules, breaking whatever semblance of "order" the demons had pressed upon them. He knew rules. His entire boxing career was shaped around rules; no hits here, no hits there, get up before 10 or you're down for the count. Aside from physical training he was behaviorally trained and didn't need to know the game to want to respect the loose-fitting boundaries for the best chance of escape. It didn't mean he couldn't be underhanded, but hell he was more than likely the straightest shooter in this room.
But whatever he tried to do or say to prevent it, it was done. He couldn't move from his place because if he did then Rick would have his legs free, so he could only wince away from the imagery of Agatha slicing into the poor bastard while Lily was screaming her head off. It seemed Agatha was either really good at ignoring the strongest of human emotions around her, or she had simply blacked out and got the job done. He doesn't know - but he knows this wasn't good.

Cheated. CHEATED. C H E A T E D. The word split through their ears, the sheer simplicity of it shaking their minds with fear and a heart-dropping weight of concern. Rick was still alive but of course he'd blacked out, and Lily scuttled over to check on him but seeing those squishy blue eyes staring back at her on the floor sent her a couple of feet away where she was puking what very little sustenance she had been given that day. Agatha rose up seemingly-triumphantly, but in reality she was frozen inside her head, well retreated into her mind and unable to process just what she'd done. She was just standing there, turning to look at the two waiting demons with glassy, empty eyes. The serpent did not speak, she only reached up to kiss Kelly softly on the cheek as indication that she would fix everything for him, moving away from him then and striding over blankly to where the large squishy eyes had been left on the ground. She lowered and picked them up unceremoniously from the pristine concrete floor as though she'd merely dropped her keys. Then, in front of them, the ravenous serpent pushed them delicately into her mouth like grapes and sucked the hanging optics nerves like noodles. It was like none of them existed in her eyes as they all stood there, disgusted and frozen and shocked and afraid, watching this MONSTER lick the saline solution from her fingers that had been secreted by the ducts to coat the eyeballs. They were slippery like boiled eggs, but had much more taste to them!

Then there was a shift in the air, as though the serpent was concerned with food first and p u n i s h m e n t next, because the stillness that surrounded her was palpable and horrifying. She looks directly at Agatha, blinking once and then twice as she processed the woman's stony body language. "...It wasn't your turn. You cheated. YOU'RE RUINING MY GAME" Damon was immediately backing away, raising his voice about a "stupid bitch" and pacing aggressively to calm his nerves underneath the sheer volume of the hissing, shrill-voiced Hydra. Agatha was frozen, speechless, her eyes widening as she backed away - but tripped on Rick's prone body. It was a very sudden movement and it triggered in the predator what it would in any; to take advantage, to lunge and pounce and d e s t r o y the prey that had made a fatal move. She was glaring down at Agatha now, looming over her with a hollow gaze. "...She has to be punished. Who will punish her to save the rest-" "You know what I'll fucking do it" Damon was immediately front and center, the beads of sweat on his face clearly having formed during this entire moral dilemma. But this, however, was not such a conundrum. He was angry and steeled by his adrenaline - Agatha's condescending ass had almost gotten them all killed. If this was the only way for redemption, then he would absolutely do it.

Agatha was screaming. But Damon pretending not to hear her, just as she did to him. "I want the limbs. All of them." she instructed, and Damon was carrying back to the toolbox and brandished the cordless bone saw. She attempted to run, attempted to get back up on her feet but... Gravity seemed to be working against her, and the serpent was to thank for that. She did not wish to get involved in the game, but this wasn't part of the GAME. This was PUNISHMENT.

The bone saw began whirring sharply, the circular blade whipping quickly around and around.. it was mesmerizing, and Damon decided he'd focus on the blade more than he would anything else. More than he would the noises, the movement, the cries and the smell of superheated flesh and muscle and bones. He crouched down and sucked in a breath and swallowed hard before pushing down at the shoulder first, his strength assisting the electric machine to sink fast. The skin was slipping off the body more than it was being cut given how fast the blade was; it was coming off like simple sleeves or a snake's shedded skin. Slivers of rubbery flesh was slapping him in the face, the blood splattering all over his face and shirt and everywhere. The serpent was culled by the scent, enticed to be calm as she watched the man not only fulfill her demand but the sight and smell was very appetizing. The rest of them were terrified, horrified, absolutely frightened by the fact that this was real, they were stuck playing this game, people were dying and they would absolutely be next. What were the odds that they would be that last one? It was completely hopeless, none of them had any chance. So as they watched the limbs coming off of Agatha amidst her inhuman screams, as they watched clean slice after clean slice through bone, as they wants the meat slough out of the wounds and the blood from her arteries spray out in a deceptively-beautiful artwork across the concrete floor, the remaining unharmed individuals were completely and utterly crushed.

Before long, Damon was stepping ba-staggering back, looking blindly at his artwork and just... taking it in. Agatha was breathing her last. Blood loss and shock would do her in - it wasn't supposed to be this way, of course. They were supposed to reward the serpent little by little with morsels so that they lasted longer, could be scared longer, could feed Kelly more. But an example had to be made - this one had to die quickly to prevent any further ideas of breaking the rules. Damon wanted to do the most he possibly could, so he bravely kicked the our limbs over to the serpent who stood in waiting - anything to shut her up, make her go away, make her leave him alone. The picky thing cocks her head curiously at the large man's offering, the way the fingers curled and danced and the feet pretended to walk, the muscles flexing and bending and giving the limbs a little flop here and there on the floor...and then deciding that she did not want it this way. She then turned quickly to Lily again. "...Oh, but I don't like eating hands and feet uncooked if I can help it. Sanitary purposes you know - come and cut them off for me, girl." at least now she couldn't whine about having to hurt a living being, could she? "You still haven't done what I asked, you know." and this sobering fact made the young thing flinch. She'd just seen what happened when you broke the rules and... technically if Agatha had broken the rules by taking her turn, then she broke the rules by giving it away to her. She isn't sure why she's being given a second chance, but she perhaps should not waste it.
If only the limbs weren't still moving...

He quite liked the way her attention diverted completely away from the game towards him. The soft little breath, and the way she beamed up at him with her big smile all the while screaming and sobbing and emotions curdled in the atmosphere. When she exclaimed who she would first eat, his eyes skipped over to the intended person in recognition. The way her mind worked came across as innocent and simplistic in her words and expressions, but it was all a cunning to allow her prey a false sense of security. He had no doubt she had more plans for the game, and she was definitely going to provide him a wonderful dinner together.

He kept his attention on her, as he always did. Watching as she registered that they had, indeed, cheated. The soft kiss on his cheek had his lips twitch, and his eyes trail after her as she regrettably left him. He was pleased with her affections, and even more pleased as she ate the unconscious mans eyeballs - Although a small part of him inwardly cringed at the idea she ate them directly off the dirty floor. At least she had eaten something, no matter how minuscule, and soon he was aware she would be allotted more. Her raised voice, in that shrill manner only she could pull off and the fluid movement that was eerily still and yet predatory at the same time as she was suddenly looming over the woman, and it caused him to just want to kiss her sweetly on the lips, even if she did eat floor food. And then the punishment was placed, and he straightened himself a bit more (if possible) as curiosity emerged. Especially at the whirring of the bone saw. What a curious instrument he had never seen before..What..And then the flesh was falling off- No- sliding off and he decided that he did indeed like this toy instrument.

Slowly the fear seemed to be building, and not only that, the repulsion and sickening twist of horror filled the air and all his senses. While he would have watched his serpent, he found his eyes could not be torn away as each individual limb was smoothly removed. Even the screams and wailing had ceased and all that was left was that mechanical noise, ever quiet, and the sound of flesh being diced. He did like his serpents game. He truly, was entertained. Even if it was in a dark and rather dirty dungeon, he would overlook it. Finally the limbs were kicked towards her, and he was rather amused by the general expression on the large humans face. It was as if he was shocked, scared, and quite pitiful all at the same time. Would his mind break? Alehkar wondered. Break like the woman who was now in pieces on the floor.

Most likely.

What a cunning woman his serpent was.

He moved then for the first time since arriving, smooth and slowly until he was standing closer to her. Deciding in a moment he did not like the space, even as the sound of the bone saw could be heard again among a whimpering and sniffling child. Alehkar's hand reached out, touching along her elbow lightly to let the hydra know he was there, his thumb rubbing gently against her skin before he let his hand move away just as slowly as he had moved up alongside her. And then the sound of 'I can't I can't' came to his ears

Lily was quivering, shaking until she could barely hold the bone saw in her hands. Her eyes wide with fear as she looked at the twitching and bloody remnants of limbs, before inching forwards and grabbing hold with one hand. Here grip slipped in the blood and gooey mess of flesh causing a small whimper to be heard. Damon was grumbling and pacing, and seemingly talking to himself and trying to keep his distance, she had thought of asking him for help, but knew that would not go over well. She had too, it was not like it was living anymore. She could just pretend she was cutting up a pig, or cow leg. If only it would stop twitching under her grip it would make it a lot easier. But she knew she could do it. Had to do it. And so she pushed down with difficulty, the blade hitting through the skin and grinding against the bone.

She had not as much strength and her grip was not as firm as Damons, and it kept almost slipping out of her hands, but she managed it. Through her chanting and her meditation and attempting to ignore the smell that was burning through her lungs. She separated the hands and the feet, moving to stand up when finished and slipping in all the fluids. It splashed over her body, over her face, in her mouth and she could not stop as she abruptly vomited all over that which she had just separated. "I…I did it..I did it.." She muttered, barely audible through her gasping for breaths to try to get some semblance of clean air. Her eyes, wide and innocent as she lay sprawled on her hands and knees covered in body parts, and too many bodily liquids to ascertain, looked up at the two demons

Alehkar cringed and took a small step backwards away from Kashiro, to ensure none of the vomit landed on him.

TRIGGER WARNING: DETAILED GORE AND VIOLENCE

In the midst of all the fun, the serpent was momentarily distracted by the touch at her elbow that signaled to her that the shadow demon had come to stand close to her. She was endeared by this, but.. also very confused. She had never had someone so actively choose to be close to her, stepping close when she was otherwise reachable by voice should they to speak with her. And it was not as though she did not want to be close, it was simply that she had acclimated to that distance, to others wishing to be away from her, to others trying to pull away when she embraced them... and then, of course, being surprised with the constrictor's instinct was triggered into performing. That couldn't be helped. But Kelly did not take the chance to be away from her, and instead without any prompting or implication from her to do so. She knew he had thoughts independent from her own, so did that mean that he genuinely wanted to be near her and did not need coercion or a reward to seek it?
She's not sure, but she does like it. She stepped closer to him, her gaze momentarily taking off of the wondrous image of the bone saw's blade burying into the frothy mess and settling onto the shadow demon at her side. She smiled at him, stepping over ever so slightly so that their bodies just barely lingered close with a touch. It was not as though she were unaware of the chaos around them, but it was inconsequential by comparison. It was similar to watching some gritty movie unfold from the comforts of a dimly-lit room, where she was both intrigued by the entertainment but.. was finding that she was far more interested in the demon beside her than anything else that was put out before her. That was her perception of reality; that room, which was untouched by any but herself - until now. Now she had someone to experience the images with, could discuss them, could be amused by them, could agree that while they were very engaging stories they were just that - stories, and they could turn them off or change the channel at any time if they so chose.

The serpent was pleased with both their displays.
And then one of them r u i n e d that.
Damon was settling down. He had Seth in his ear, as meek as the poor shut-in bastard was, trying to make him go to some "happy place." He yelled at the other man who in turn flinched at the harshities of what he'd said, and then they both were quiet as they tried to stew over some convoluted plan of escape. The butler never moved, but he was watching all of them - even the ones who were roaming just outside his field of vision. Lily crumpled down triumphantly only for the adrenaline to ebb with the silence of the bone saw and the scent of burned bone and flesh blood squirting out of vital arteries hit her like a semi. She lurched, her eyesight on the demons looming overhead torn away as her eyes watered and her throat nearly lunged forward the contents from her stomach. The serpent aggressively stepped back, but besides the swift cut of her movement there was no other indication that she was particularly inconsolable. She was suddenly shaking her head quickly like she'd been given the wrong order and was fed up with being given S H I T service. Lily felt her body temperature drop a couple degrees at the mere sight of it.

"...I can't eat this." she spoke so low like it was it was some revelation she was just coming to in real time. She was referring to the limbs which the T H I N G had vomited on, flecks of the fluid splashing over one or two of the cuts and the serpent decided it was completely G A R B A G E. ALL OF IT. What mostly upset her was the feel of the fluid at her own feet - this particularly enraged her. "I.. I can't eat this" she said it again but louder this time, and this time both Damon and Seth had turned and were now looking on in confusion. She was growng more hostile, more unwelcoming, more u p s e t than before, her skin practically bristling with her venomous anger and hate. "I'M FUCKING HUNGRY AND YOU'RE STARVING ME??" and before the girl could scramble away she was caught by the back of her pretty blouse, dragged up onto her feet and despite how she was kicking and pulling the serpent did not relent. It only caused her to savagely bury her nails and fingers into her nape down to the joints closest to the tips. The little thing was squealing and begging and sobbing and screaming, constantly crying out "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'msorryI'msorryI'msorry" over and over again to no avail. She was being wrested back towards the toolbox where the serpent removed a blowtorch which had already been attached to the propane tank nestled in the bottom basket of the toolbox. Whatever volume and pitch the girl's screams were in, they rose up twice and high and twice as loud once those wide eyes settled on the inactive torch. She was sobbing incoherently and neither of the men could move a muscle - it wasn't their turn and despite how they may have wanted to help, they were smart enough to know that breaking the rules was definitely not an option. They had more to live for, more to love out there than to go and blow it all just to help some girl they didn't know who was about to sell them out for some 30-something cradle robber.

With the torch still in hand, the serpent decided it was time to eat. She yanked the girl close and buried her straight, deceptively-white teeth into the back of her neck, biting down nonchalantly in the same way one might bite into a delicious peach or a nice apple. She was eating - there was nothing ceremonious about that, nothing special, nothing unusual or intentionally gruesome and perhaps that was what made it all the more sickening. She took back a large bite and chewed delicately, savoring the flavor before moving back and sinking in again. The skin was so taut, so young, that it flexed before it broke, bent before it snapped, the sound of tension in the veins and sinews a strange sound before the nice little pop of veins could be heard and and the sound of liquid being sucked into the cavity as the blood came rushing to the gaping wounds. She ate down until she hit bone and then relocated, simply eating around her fingers where they remained tight into the divots of the meat. She ate lower and lower until she was at the shoulder, biting into the meat exposed by the off-the-shoulder blouse that the human girl was wearing. The serpent likened the meat as juicy and savory as watermelon, perhaps, the sheer red of it all definitely mimicking the appearance. Once she felt she had enough to last her for the game to continue, on came the blowtorch. She doesn't notice any of the unintelligible noises that the little thing was making, her body weak with pain and her struggling now no more than feeble pushes of her little arms and an occasional jerking of her body that was flawlessly negated by the strong grip of the serpent's burrowed fingers.

And just like that, the serpent was saving her life.
Well, ensuring she was still alive long enough to continue playing the game. She was cauterizing her wounds, soldering the veins shut with vicious heat, and though the surrounding skin was becoming inflamed and blistering and then sloughing off like meat from well-cooked chicken, it was doing its job. The bleeding was no longer prominent through the brown mess of meat and open muscle and visible bone - the portion was cooked, a lovely scent (at least for the serpent) and the girl at some point lost feeling in that place and perhaps that was all for the better. Still her body was reacting to the sheer trauma and once she was let go she was sprawling across the floor, heaving though nothing came up, shaking as her body met a brief episode of shock that the serpent wasn't interested in. She was wiping the blood away from her face with the back of her hand, placing the blowtorch away and turning ever so smoothly back to the two men who were remaining untouched. Nice and healthy. Large, too - definitely the main course. "I'm not done eating. Which of you want to go next?" she said this so casually that it was sickening. "You have three to choose from - only the cheater is dead." would one choose the man who was defenseless, helpless on the floor, or would they perhaps choose the girl who could not put up a healthy fight and had already been damaged to begin with - or would they try to best one another, the only remaining healthy individuals who would certainly put up a fight? The tension and sheer fear of what the next player would choose was incredibly palpable.

Kashiro did not care. She was hungry.

It had escalated rather quickly, hadn't it? Agatha looked rather, content, laying on the floor awed into pieces, bits of her scattered about and mixed with bile and chunks of undigested food while Rick remained unconscious on the floor with only his sharp and uneven, rattling breaths showing that he was still semi alive. And one could never forget Lily, who also succumbed to the pain of her injuries and seemed to be in a restful sleep dreaming of unicorns and butterflies and well actually more likely demons and flesh eating zombies. Her sizzled flesh still burnt throughout the room, until the air was thick with the scent. And then there was Damon and Seth, both who seemed to look as if they would fall over any minute from pure disgust and shock. At least Damon still seemed to have some life in him, in his never ending pacing like a caged gorilla. Alehk decided he most liked the gait of the man, the lumbering of his shoulders and the way his feet consistently moved, shifting, attempting to be ready for anything but knowing he could never predict what two psychotic demons may do.

The serpents words hung in the air, lingering and boiling the aroma of emotions until it was satiable for her shadow demon. Never had the demon witnessed such a beauty of a game, such morbidity and lusciously devious cunning. Never had he witnessed the gorey details of what exactly a serpent that was hungry, while simultaneously trying to please, could come up with. The hospital was more about reenacting. The hunt was more about a simple feast. But this was something…else. He could not put his thoughts to it, but it was intriguing to say the least. Entertaining. Beautiful. To take humans, and their strong will to live, and twisting it into a sideshow of blood, mutilation, and sacrifice. And of course, taking away their complete freedom of survival. Alehkar took absolutely everything in. The way her expressions changed from anger, to playful innocence, to a complete normality much similar to his own constant. The endearment he felt towards her, had seemed to increase with each syllable she spoke, and each bite she took out of the wriggling and weak human girl.

He had wanted to be close to her before, and even then with blood dripping from her chin, and the possibility of muscle stuck between her teeth, he wanted to be close to her. The physical contact he enjoyed, not simply for making the action but receiving it too, he found. He was not quite sure why, but it provided him some form of…comfort? Perhaps. So like the shadow he was, he remained close to her, never far even as she had held the living corpse in her hands, and even as she tore through the arm like a drumstick. Hovering, and providing the smallest of gestures by a small touch there, or a brush of her body with his. Always slow. Always small and barely recognizable to the humans whose attention seemed rapt within the confines of her hollow gaze, barely paying himself any mind or attention. Which that too, he liked. It was a show to him. To watch the game. To watch the contestants. To watch her.

Both individual were so very different. And Alehkar had thought, when her question was released and awaited an answer, the first to lunge forward would be the apex male, yet Seth brought himself from his curled position. His eyes wavering away from daring to look at the Serpents face, not even flinching under the heavy sight of Damon, and of course barely paying mind to the butler or the shadow. A shakey breath. A straightened spine. Courage. That is what the human thought he had, but all Alehkar felt from him was a consistent drip of fear and uncertainty. His steps were solid though, and his shoulders - Alehkar liked how straight his posture was. Not as hulking as the other male. More practical. Not as perfect as Alehkars, but he would give some allowances for the circumstances. "I will. What is it I can do for you, Miss?" The shadow demon tilted his head to the side a little at the words chosen, and how the serpent was being addressed, his facial muscles twitching in response but other than that there was no expression as normal.

The constrictor was in her element, the sheer reactionary aspect of it, acclimating to each spontaneous response of her prey. They could not get over on her, would not get over on her despite how she slithered low. She took a backseat to the evil of the game itself wherein it was viewed as its own entity and they could hardly focus on the fact that the serpent was not a mechanism of the horrifying events but was its creator, was the greatest evil in the room. This was helpful, she has no ego so as much to be concerned by this lack of appreciation from them, because it allowed her to do precious little while they wore themselves down with anger, hate, fear and the like.

Yes she was intrigued by all the things she caused with a simple touch, the shockwave and ripple effect that proved how fragile these creatures were but of course she was constantly - moreso - aware of him. Her eyes were following the game but she was following him, her unseen presence curling around him, the slightest vibrations of his movement alerting her to where he was so she could follow. Everything was done with some deeper more passionate meaning to it, it seemed - the way she moved around the room, the way she manhandled her prey, her gait ever a fluid stride, smooth like milk. She was aware of how he moved to her and the way he conducted those movements and she complimented them with her, timing a step or two with his and reflexively positioning herself to where her back was to him - not disinterested but coy, not inhospitable but welcoming, a show that she was trusting of him in a way a wild animal would not find it necessary to keep its company in a line of sight. It was a dance, a courtship, and the lives of people in their hands was nothing but an offering, a simple gift, a piece of this elaborate collaboration between them. That's all any of this was, wasn't it? The games were ever entertaining, always satisfying, but awareness of him had never been less than she had for the game itself. As though she participated only because she knew he was watching her, as though she had something she wanted him to see.. It was that way now, then, because he was close and she quite enjoyed that extensively. She could feel him there, and his simple heated touches and grazes of his body against her own were enticing her to ignore the humans completely. She was aware of him as she ate at the neck and shoulders of the screeching thing, her eyes absently falling to the flesh before her but her attention was not pouring through them.

The blood at her chin was so red, so fresh, and the way the thick liquid suspended its drips from her chin was incredibly poetic, gruesomely beautiful, her hollow eyes more animal than a beast itself. She cleared as much of it as she could with the back of her hand, her tongue flickering out to taste the residual. She was done with this contestant - for now. Her punishment had luckily (or unluckily) not ended in her death, but there was more game to be played! Lily would have another chance to redeem herself as soon as she was awake. Now they were moving down the table, and she stood there preoccupied with the blood on her hand while she waited for the remaining contestants to choose between each other. She didn't have to wait for very long. One of them was stepping up, and her gaze turned up to look at him. Her entire body moved to face him fluidly in that way she did, such an eerie thing - and she was watching him as he dared come close to converse with her. How unusual, she thought; she could hear him from the distance, didn't he know that? Still, she doesn't have much to complain about. After all, he was front and center and very cooperative. "How helpful of you!" she says gleefully, pleased that at least one of these ungrateful humans were enjoying the game they were a part of. "Hmm.. I want tendons - calve, preferably. Can you do this for me?" Seth was.. pleased, that all it took was stepping up to avoid the serpent's wrath. He was.. a student of behavior. Just because he had shut himself away from the world did not mean he was not always watching, always observing through the cameras outside of his home and, sometimes, through the cameras of other people's homes. Yes, just because being close to people frightened him did not mean he did not like them, did not mean he did not like watching them. All it took was someone to leave their laptop open, connected to wifi that he could slink through, infect their computer, take over the camera and.. well, he'd seen a lot of intriguing behaviors. It wasn't just about the arousal of it, not just about trying to get lucky enough to sneak a peak at someone dressing or making love - that crass. He wasn't like those people. He appreciated the beauty of behavior, how it changed from what he saw in public, what he saw on TV, when the person was alone. There was magnificence to how basic they became, all those smiles and deceptive pleasantries melting from their everything. They were bare, simple, small - and it was the only time he wasn't intimidated by them. Perhaps that was why he was able to scrounge up courage to test what he thought was the case; that this demon was very similarly that way, except all the time. That she was driven singularly, that what she wanted was exactly what she said she wanted - and that, for the hermit, was incredibly comforting. He could be heard letting out a gentle sigh of relief. "..Tendons. I can get that for you Miss. Will you choose what tool I use?" The serpent thinks on it for a moment and then shakes her head fluidly. "You can choose whichever you like. People who don't d i s a p p o i n t me get to pick."

He could hear Damon in the distance screaming at him. Warning him as he went over to the toolbox with a nod, saying "What the fuck is WRONG with you, man? Use your MOTHERFUCKING HEAD. You think this crazy cunt is going to let you out even if you hack us all to pieces?!" Seth looked up from his place at the toolbox and sharply retorted "D-Don't call her that." if there was anything he knew about things that behaved like her, he knew they didn't like to be called names. Psychopathic personalities were always that way, weren't they? He had always watched documentaries on psychopaths and serial killers, how they thought, what they did and why and had grown fond of the way they perceived the world. In their world there was nothing wrong, nothing unusual, nothing wrong. So he knows that indicating they were wrong in their own habitat, on their own turf, was recipe for disaster. Damon was a fool - didn't he see how angry she got? She had a hair-trigger response to anger, of course! How she was giddy one moment and then screeching the next... well. He planned on getting out of here and perhaps that was why he was being so attentive, but maybe if he was not chosen as the winner he could convince her with his preemptively-good behavior to let him live here, simply work here if he lost. Poor Damon didn't think about that. Poor Damon was exactly like the people who called him crazy, called him a freak, ousted him. Seth let him speak. Let him bury himself deeper into that hole and let him lessen his chance of survival. As it seemed, the biggest obstacle was avoiding the punishing. As long as they survived that, everyone else around them would slowly die off. "Yeah. Okay. Fucking ignore me Seth - ignore what I fucking told you earlier. You think that flesh-eating animal and her psycho boyfriend are going to actually let ANY OF US out of here when we've seen their face you're fucking wrong. FUCKING WRONG." "...Oh. What did he tell you earlier?" she was curious primarily, but Damon was beginning to wear down the stillness in her disposition. Perhaps she should take his mouth, she thinks - the game would go much nicer if he was not making so much noise berating her.
She could solder it closed, easy!

Seth quickly stepped back into position with his choice of large, sharp stainless steel gardening shears that he deemed would make the extraction of calve muscles incredibly quick, clean, easy. He looked up from thumbing the sharp blades and stared at the serpent who had questioned him - and at Damon's sheer misfortune, he was incredibly willing to say "He told me to help kill you. Wanted me to go next, wanted me to choose something sharp. Then I was supposed choose Lily, he was going to drag her over close to me - close to you, then grab you so I could kill you. Wanted me to make it quick - go for the jugular, he said." Damon froze, the lurch of his stomach indicative of how sick and weak he suddenly felt. The passive Seth had seemed like a perfect candidate to obey him, to tag along with his ideas and help get them all out of here. Yes he knew rules, yes he knew obedience, but none of that was necessary if he could just KILL THE BITCH. And now, of course, Seth had sold his out. Was probably planning that all along. It was always the fucking quiet ones.

Kashiro's hand immediately rose to feel her neck, rubbing around its circumference. "You mean.. ..to behead me??" it was quiet, a small sound, confused at just what she was being told. They weren't the same thing at all, not really, but all she heard was that they were going for her neck.
DAMON WAS GOING FOR HER NECK.
"I want to play the game, Miss. I don't want to be p-punished. So.. That's why I told you." fucking sellout. Damon was screaming at him but Seth was only dispassionately looking at him, maybe even a little shrug of his shoulders. Then, of course, the command. "I want his. Take his tendons. Make him kneel. That is how you will please me. Do it NOW!" Damon was ready to fight at that, stepping back and staring back at Seth with the sharpest amount of hate he had ever experienced. Nothing about the hood had ever made him this angry, nothing about the gangs, nothing about the drive-bys, nothing about the executions - nothing.
Seth was it.
He was the devil.
