Mastery: Superior
Technopathy: Ability to manipulate technology. Manifested as a special form of electrical/telekinetic manipulation, a special form of "morphing" which allows physical interaction with machines, or even a psychic ability that allows for mental interface with computer data.
Power Based: The ability to have technology complete greater feats for you, such as completely shutting down a street block’s lighting, or hot wiring a car to go haywire.
Control Based: The ability to speak coherently with technology, and complete greater intellectual feats for you, such as hacking into government code or explaining certain firewall interfaces.
 
Dominion 2
Light
Mastery: Lesser
Light: The creation/manipulation of light, the ability to blind opponents temporarily (or permanently dependent on mastery level) with bright flashes, and to elevate moods with light therapy. Also includes manipulation of color.
Power Based: The more light you can flash at once.
Control Based: The greater amount of light you can bend to your will.

Mastery: Lesser
Absorption: The ability to absorb energy and convert it into something else, such as physical strength.
Power Based: You can absorb more energy at once, as well as have more powerful conversion output.
Control Based: You have better control over what energy you want to absorb, as well as what you want to convert it into.

Vision
Mastery: Lesser
Vision: The ability to have power through one’s vision, which could include but not limited to: heat vision, laser vision, magnified vision, night vision, or x-ray vision. Lesser mastery users can only use one type of vision, and as they gain higher mastery levels they can use a wider variety of visions.
Power Based: Vision is amplified, but you will have trouble controlling which to use, and when. It isn’t uncommon for your vision to change randomly when you least expect it.
Control Based: Your other visions aren’t as powerful as your normal eyesight, but you have more control over them and are less likely to have your vision switching on you without your knowledge.

Shadow
Mastery: Lesser
Shadow: The creation/manipulation of shadows, the ability to fade into the shadows or use shadows to hide things.
Power Based: The larger amount of shadows you can create at once.
Control Based: The more shadows you can manipulate at once.

Mastery: Superior
Superior Speed: Accelerated movement. Speedsters, as they’re sometimes called, are capable of running at speeds far in excess of human capability and resistance to the side effects (air resistance, inability to breathe, dynamic shock resulting from contact with objects at high speed, etc.) that result from that velocity.
Power Based: Faster movements, including the ability to move faster than the eye can follow at higher masteries.
Control Based: Ability to move people and things while increasing those people or things’s resistance to side-effects.
 
Dominion 2
Pocket Space
Mastery: Minor
Pocket Space: The ability to create a pocket of space between the physical and demon realm to hold and remove objects so that only the user can retrieve them. It could be used for carrying really heavy equipment, hiding valuable and/or stolen and/or highly explosive goods, concealing weapons, smuggling candy into movie theaters, removing a hostile explosive, etc.
Power Based: Cannot hold volatile objects such as explosives, guns, etc, but can hoard a greater amount of objects
Control Based: Can hold volatile objects, but cannot hoard a great amount of them

Power Based: Influence a wider group of people.
Control Based: Better control of how you affect someone.

Invulnerability
Mastery: Lesser
Invulnerability: To be invincible or immune to injury. This is not a passive ability; it must be activated before, or during the onset of an injury, and can only be used once before it has to recharge. Higher mastery users have a faster recharge period.
Power Based: The more powerful of a dominion attack you can remain invincible to, however you are not immune to injuries from accidents or natural causes.
Control Based: You have a greater chance of being immune to injuries caused by accidents or natural causes, however you are not invincible against dominion attacks.

Duplication: The ability to create physical duplicates of oneself. Duplicates are limited with what they can interact with in the physical world, as well as how long they can stay before disappearing. Greater mastery level users can create stronger and longer-lasting duplicates.
Power Based: Able to create more duplicates at once, but less control over them.
Control Based: More control over duplicates, but the less of them you can create.

Animals: The communication with animals and the control of animals. The more intelligent the animal, the easier it is to communicate with and the harder it is to control.
Power Based: The better control you have over animals.
Control Based: The better communication you have with animals.
 
Dominion 5
Psychic
Mastery: Superior
Psychic: A psychic is a wide-encompassing dominion that can foster great power over time. Psychics dabble in fortune telling and manipulation. Psychics can also put strong mental blocks in people’s minds, making them forget certain memories or even keep secrets locked in destructive magic, so that should they die, someone could not extract that information from their head (they, of course, can also reverse these effects and even break locks put on by weaker psychics or magic). Psychics have a deep resonation with the Astral Plane as well, and if they focus hard enough, they can detect all other spirits in their vicinity, even if they are not in physical form. Psychics are known for being able to talk to the dead as well, but that is neither here nor there as far as a confirmation in reality goes. To top it all off, psychics are able to place horrible curses of luck, or blessings of fortune on willing targets (meaning, someone who agrees to subject themselves to a fortune telling).
Power Based: You focus on fortune telling and manipulation. A lesser mastery psychic cannot alter others’ luck at all, but can alter their own slightly (small things, i.e. someone gives them the wrong amount of change back at a register-- bad: too little change-- good: too much change). However, legendary psychics can alter fate in ways unimaginable (big things, i.e. someone doesn’t die when they’re supposed to-- bad: they get hit by a car and pass away years before their life expectancy-- good: they live twenty years longer due to the cancer they were going to have never coming). **These alterations can stretch the imagination, but must remain in the realm of possibility. Think of this alteration as a multiplier. Even if you multiply the chances of something with a 0% chance of happening by 10000, there will still be a 0% chance of it happening (ex. 0 x 10000 = 0). It is also important to remember that fortune telling is not the same as scrying, but moreso a foggy reading on situations with the highest probability. Lesser mastery of fortune telling is basically guessing, but as a psychic masters more of their craft, fortune telling can be clear in predicting an actual path for a person and better understanding their emotions.
Control Based: You focus on mind barriers, from putting locks on super hush hush secrets, to unlocking someone’s full potential or lifting a curse. A very controlled psychic can erase pages of pages of memory from someone’s mental book, and can even explore the deepest mechanisms of the human brain. Control based psychics are typically good at reading a person’s behaviors and ticks, although not to be confused with an Empath, they are very detective-like at higher levels of mastery. Control based psychics are usually the ones that can easily sense spirits and even talk with them at higher levels of mastery.

Metal
Mastery: Lesser
Metal: The ability to manipulate metal and metallic objects.
Power Based: The heavier/larger amount of metal you can manipulate at once.
Control Based: The more intricately you can manipulate metal. Higher levels of mastery in the Metal dominion can allow control based characters to turn a lock in a building down the block (this is an extreme example, but nevertheless possible).

Animation: The ability to allow objects that have never and will never live to act as though they are living. Items will never gain sentience or will of their own, but may follow orders, sometimes even after the animator is dead.
Power Based: The bigger size of unanimated objects you can animate.
Control Based: The larger amount of unanimated objects you can animate and control at once.
 
Dominion 2
Hallucinations
Mastery: Superior
Hallucinations: The ability to create, induce or control hallucinations.
Power Based: The easier it is to make these illusions, as well as the more powerful/realistic these hallucinations will be. Legends have been able to vex victims so harshly that they end up taking their own life.
Control Based: The easier it is to create specific hallucinations (i.e. showing the person a graphic, bloody depiction of a deceased relative). You can typically tell when you are being put under an illusion as well.
 
Dominion 3
Flight
Mastery: Lesser
Flight: The ability to fly, and make other people or objects fly.
Power Based: The greater heights and speeds you can fly at without the adverse effects.
Control Based: The longer amount of time you can fly without fatigue, and more people or objects you can bring with you.
